Common FAQs
What services does Dentistry of Lewisburg offer?
Dentistry of Lewisburg offers a comprehensive range of dental services. We provide general dentistry, which includes hygiene, gingivitis therapy, periodontal therapy, and laser treatments. Our restorative services include fillings, crowns, bridges, partials, and dentures. We also specialize in implant dentistry, offering traditional implants, all-on-X solutions, and snap-in dentures. For cosmetic needs, we provide veneers, teeth whitening, and clear aligner therapy.
Do you offer sedation options for anxious patients?
Yes, we understand that dental anxiety is common, and we offer several sedation options to ensure your comfort. We provide nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and IV sedation. Our team will discuss these options with you to determine the best choice based on your anxiety level and the procedure you're undergoing.
What types of payment options do you accept?
We strive to make dental care accessible and offer various payment options. We accept most PPO insurance plans and offer an in-house membership program for uninsured patients. For financing, we work with Cherry financing, Care Credit, and Proceed financing to provide flexible payment plans.
How often should I visit for check-ups and cleanings?
We generally recommend visiting us twice a year (every six months) for routine check-ups and professional cleanings. However, depending on their oral health status, some patients may need more frequent visits. During your initial visit, we'll assess your needs and recommend a personalized care schedule.
What happens during a new patient appointment?
Your first appointment typically lasts about an hour. You'll start with our hygienist, who will perform the necessary imaging and assessment. Then, Dr. Morton will complete a comprehensive exam and review your oral health. We'll address any concerns you have and discuss your dental goals. We offer a $199 new patient special that includes this comprehensive exam, all necessary X-rays, and a healthy mouth cleaning.
Do you offer emergency dental services?
While we don't see patients for after-hours emergencies in the office, we do have an after-hours emergency line. This allows our patients to speak directly with their dentist for urgent dental issues that occur outside of our regular business hours.
